Figuring Life Out - One Thousand Gifts

So as I was reading the morning devotions I get in my inbox this AM, I ran across this and just had to share. It's such a beautiful reminder that we are soooo loved by a gracious and beautiful and holy heavenly Father. Even little things like blogging remind me to slow down and just enjoy the simple things in life. I hope to start doing some simple things of old like maybe starting a new hobby (cooking, sewing, fishing) and just learning to enjoy life... let me know what simple thing you are going to start doing and together, maybe we can slow life down a bit and just be... loved :)

long time, no see.....

Wow, so it's been quite a long time since I've visited this world of thoughts expressed onto blank space... Since that time, I have returned to the day shift as a nurse. Let me tell you, it's just not natural to work at night and sleep during the day! It'll make one go loco. Anyways, so yes, I am back on days, and despite the crazy business of it all, I like it soooo much better.


Did I tell you I was battling the evil germ called 'THE COLD'. Oh my gosh, it is terrible! All I have to say is drink vitamin C as if it were your favorite soft drink. Trust me, you'll thank me later....


Well, my brain is in a fog right now from so many 'boogers'. Yes, that's right, I said 'boogers'. You would never think that your body could produce so many. I can't think of much more to write at the moment, but I will catch up with you later. So, I am doing my best to stay up all night tonight, and at this present time I am beginning to get very sleepy… I indulged in a wonderful homemade oatmemeal choco chip cookie that I created, a cup of lipton green tea, and then a cup of folgers breakfast blend coffee, all while fiercely competing against my sister in a game of literati. For an hr. or so, I had a sudden spurt of energy, but alas, the caffeine is beginning to drain, so in this fight against the powers of sleep, I decided to listen to some heavenly music and thought I should share. This song is powerful reminder to me that I will always be restless, that is, until I rest in the loving arms of my father in heaven. In case you are reading this Jesus, I love you :)
